What Is A Workstream?

A 'workstream' is a focused area within your business where specific time and resources are allocated to optimize and grow a particular service or function. In your package, this means you can choose one primary service focus to develop, with additional workstreams available at higher program tiers.

What Is An Advisory Session?

An advisory session is a focused 30, 60, 90, or 120-minute executive strategy meeting, depending on your tier level, designed to check in on your business's current progress, provide valuable insights, and offer targeted support where needed. It's a dedicated time to address challenges, refine strategies, and ensure your business is on track for success—like a therapy session, but for your business.

What Is A Growth Sprint?

A growth sprint is a focused weekly assembly dedicated to prioritizing and executing critical tasks and operations. It helps you stay accountable and effectively plan your week or month with clear, actionable steps. This sprint can also include your team members, advisory board, or investors/stockholders if needed, ensuring everyone is aligned and your business moves forward efficiently.

5.

What Is A Retro?

A retro is a performance and strategy assessment, alignment, and evaluation meeting focused on reviewing and analyzing the outcomes of recent efforts. Unlike a sprint, which is forward-focused on execution, a retro looks back at current or past campaigns to assess their effectiveness. During this meeting, we review data, identify what worked, and determine what could be improved. It’s an opportunity to reassess workload, expectations, and make necessary adjustments to optimize future strategies and ensure continuous improvement.

What Is The Difference Between A Advisory Session, Growth Sprint, & Monthly Retro + How Do They Work Together?

An advisory session, growth sprint, and monthly retro each serve distinct yet complementary roles in your business strategy. An advisory session is a focused, executive-level meeting designed to provide insights, address challenges, and refine strategies, much like a therapy session for your business. In contrast, a growth sprint is a practical, weekly assembly dedicated to prioritizing and executing critical tasks and operations, ensuring your team stays aligned and focused on immediate goals. The monthly retro, on the other hand, is a performance and strategy assessment that looks back at recent efforts to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement.

Together, these elements create a cohesive strategic system—advisory sessions guide your overall direction, growth sprints drive day-to-day execution, and retros refine your approach for continuous improvement. This harmonious flow helps build a strong foundation for sustainable growth.

For my more visual people out there like Troy... here's an analogy that to further explain:

The program is like running a marathon with a coach, a pit crew, and a race review team.

The advisory session is like meeting with your coach before the race. You discuss your game plan, adjust your strategy, and get the mental boost you need to tackle the course ahead. It’s all about setting the right direction and ensuring you’re prepared for what’s to come.

The growth sprint is like having your pit crew alongside you during the race. They help you navigate the course, make quick adjustments, and keep you fueled and focused on the immediate steps you need to take to stay on track and ahead of the competition.

The monthly retro is like sitting down with your race review team after the marathon. You analyze your performance, look at the data, and figure out what worked and what didn’t. This is your chance to fine-tune your approach for the next race, making sure you’re constantly improving.

Together, these elements work in harmony—your coach (advisory session) sets the strategy, your pit crew (growth sprint) keeps you on track during the race, and your review team (retro) ensures you’re getting better with every lap. This system helps you build momentum, stay focused, and continuously grow stronger in your business journey.

Hopefully that gives a clear overview of the breakdown and how that works.

Essential Information: Program Guidelines & Disclaimers

Disclaimer: Results from Troy’s Growth Accelerator Program are conditional and can vary based on several factors, including but not limited to the level of implementation, market conditions, industry-specific challenges, and the resources dedicated by your team. While the program is designed to provide strategic insights, actionable plans, and support tailored to your business’s unique needs, success is ultimately dependent on your commitment to executing the strategies and adapting to the evolving market landscape.

It’s important to understand that having Troy as an advisor to your business is not the same as having him work 40 hours a week directly on your business. (No scope creeping). His role is to guide, advise, and support your growth, but you and your team will be responsible for the execution. To ensure the best fit, your business will be auditioned, audited, and assessed before being accepted into the program.

The program can be canceled at any time with 30 days’ notice, unless it is set up as a quarterly or annual contract commitment. If you cancel in the middle of an active month, payment for that month will still be required. We will make every effort to complete final deliverables within that timeframe, but if work extends beyond the initial timeline, we may need to continue at a set pace until completion. However, we are not responsible for any incomplete work if the timeline cannot be met under these conditions.

Troy has high expectations to make this program successful for the clients he chooses to accept. Your commitment to doing the work is crucial to achieving the desired outcomes. This program is an investment in your business’s potential, and while it offers the tools and strategies to help you succeed, the final results depend on your active participation and dedication.

If you need Troy to be more deeply involved in your business, he also offers Fractional CMO services. In this role, he can help build and develop a team to support you on the fulfillment and execution side, ensuring that your business thrives at every level.
